New Books for 2012

We are delighted to announce that several new titles will be included in Letterbox Club parcels in 2012.

Letterbox Blue, our parcel for children aged 7-9, will include The High Street, a beautifully illustrated, interactive picture book by Alice Melvin (Tate Publishing) - winner of the 2011 Best New Illustrator Award.

We also have a new poetry title for younger children, Hey, Little Bug: Poems for Little Creatures by James Carter (Frances Lincoln).

We will be recognising some notable events in 2012, such as the bicentenary of the birth of Charles Dickens. We will include picture books re-telling some of his classic stories, as well as looking at the life of the author himself.

London will be centre stage in 2012, so we will be reflecting this with titles linked to the Olympic Games, as well as titles which showcase the capital city itself.

We will send coordinators a full list of titles for all our parcels when the selection process has been completed.
