  • Letterbox Club Offers Post Adoption Support

Letterbox Club is now available to children placed for adoption, and can be used as post-adoption support.

The parcels contain a range of books, including fairy tale, chapter books, just-published and classic story, non-fiction, poetry and humour - all for the child to use on their own or to share with others. Children also receive maths games, concentrating on number and money, and a range of stationery items, including pens, pencils, felt-tips, calculators and exercise books.

Children receive their parcels from May until October. It gives them something enjoyable to do at home over the long summer holidays. It also helps them feel more confident about moving from one school year to the next.

The cost per child is £130, for the six parcels.

    How does it work?

There are four Letterbox Club parcels available:

    • Letterbox Red - ages 9 to 11
    • Letterbox Green - ages 11 to 13
    • Letterbox Yellow - for children aged 7 to 11 with special educational needs
