Book Trust and the University of Leicester are delighted to welcome leading children's author and illustrator, Emily Gravett, twice winner of the Kate Greenaway Medal, to run an event at Literary Leicester 2015.
Emily will be telling the story of how she became an illustrator and offering readings from her latest works, including Meerkat Mail. The event will take place on Saturday 14 November from 11.00am - 12.00pm and is suitable for children aged 6 and up. Do come and join us!

There will also be lots of other workshops to attend such as 'The Story of Alice: Lewis Carroll and the Secret History of Wonderland' with Robert Douglas-Fairhurst - or you might want to join the discussion 'Why Do We Need Fantasy Fiction?'
