The Letterbox Club Induction Day was held on Thursday 12 February at the October Gallery in London.
This annual event is an opportunity for new Letterbox Club Coordinators or local authorities participating for the first time to find out more about Letterbox Club, and we also welcome any existing Coordinators who would like more information about the programme.
Speakers included Dr Rose Griffiths, founder of the Letterbox Club who talked about how it was set up over 10 years ago and the benefits it can bring, and acclaimed children's author, Katherine Rundell who grew up with foster siblings and talked about the power of books to bring them together as a family.
Letterbox Club Operations Coordinator Steve Rusbridge gave an overview of the logistical side of running the programme and was on hand to answer questions throughout the day.
