Letterbox Club Maths Games: originals for photocopying

The maths games for Letterbox parcel 1 are put in the parcels at the warehouse. For parcels 2 to 6, you add the correct level of maths game for each child before posting the parcel on to the child. For most games, this will be two or three sheets of card, printed according to the chart which follows.

You will need thin A4 card for copying the games in parcels 2, 3, 4 and 5, in three or four colours (paler colours are best for easier reading, e.g. lemon, pale blue, pale green, ivory or gold). It doesn’t matter which colours you use for each game – the aim is to provide variety for the children receiving them.

All the originals have specific instructions about printing at the top of the sheet. The children will, of course, cut out and make the games when they receive them. All the other things they need for the game are already packed in their Letterbox parcel.

The games for parcel 6 are A3. You could use thick A3 paper or thin card for these, in any pale colour. Fold to A4 size for packing.

If you lose an original for parcels 2 to 5, you can copy from the Number Connections copymasters books, using the page reference given (eg R89: red book page 89). For parcel 6 contact the Letterbox Club at Booktrust for replacements.
